This Client is here for a good time, not a long time!

With this site functioning as a temporary office for 2 years, and sustainability being a core value of the client’s business, we worked hard to maximise the design impact while incorporating 75% reused furniture.This proved to be the biggest challenge as the reused pieces, selected from an extensive furniture catalogue from offices around the country, directed us in terms of colours and look and feel.

We opened the central areas to improve the flow of the space and colour coded each floor with vibrant and punchy tones. Alongside the furniture we added new flooring and pendant lights to create collaborative landscapes in which staff could step away from their desks to meet, interact, and socialise.


Alongside the refreshed office spaces, level 1 hosts a commercial kitchen for workshops as well as a fully functional hair salon, in what used to be a storage room. These spaces required bespoke solutions to maximse the functionality as well as the aesthetics, and gave us the opportunity to further explore the world of retail design.
